We're bringing Big Axe Vertical ATW (Around the World), an IATF Supporting Tournament that’s as fun as it is challenging back for 2025.​ ​​Ticket Price: $70 per person Registration: 2:00pm Start Time: 3:00pm Prize Pool: $385 (1st: $170, 2nd: $120, 3rd: $95) + Merch & Sponsors Prizes IATF - Supporting Tournament: The 1st place finisher will receive a reserved spot into a comparable tournament at the 2025 International Axe Throwing Championships Tournament Rules: - Open tournament - Big Axes - IATF Approved - IATF Premier ruleset Tournament Format: - Three Game Guarantee, Double Elimination - Competitors will have a minimum of 3 matches The ‘Three Game Guarantee’ format for a Double Elimination tournament ensures every player will have a minimum of 3 matches in the event by giving each player who loses their first two consecutive matches a third match with the chance to fight their way back up through the lower bracket all the way to the Finals. ​Big Axe Vertical ATW Rules: - IATF Premier Rules - Players must score a lower ring 1, then a lower ring 3, then a 5, then an upper ring 3, then an upper ring 1 and a Premier Clutch to finish. - 10 max throws to hit all points. - Whoever hits a Premier Clutch first wins. - If neither player hits a Premier Clutch most touch Clutches in the 10 throws wins. - If neither player reaches Clutches, the player who has progressed the furthest through the above steps wins. Tiebreakers: - If players hit Premier Clutches on the same throw or if both are tied on total touch Clutches after 10 throws (with no Premier Clutches), then players will go to a sudden death Clutch throw with the closest result to a Clutch winning.
